Might and May for Possibility

Use might and may when something is possible, but not certain. They are softer than will. After both verbs, use the base form of the next verb.

• Example: I might come later.
• Example: She may be at home.

Quick Rule

• might / may + base verb
• use them for possibility, not certainty

These words leave the door open, but they do not promise anything.
