Life Experience with Ever and Never
Use ever in questions about life experience. Use never to say that something has not happened at any time in your life. These sentences usually do not mention a finished time.
- Example: Have you ever been to Italy?
- Example: I have never seen snow.
Quick Rule
- ever -> common in present perfect questions
- never -> negative meaning, so do not add another negative word
This is the tense for asking about life so far.
