Story transcript

It's a sunny afternoon. Ben goes to an ice cream shop with his dad. Ben looks at the menu. He wants chocolate ice cream, but his dad wants vanilla. Ben asks the woman behind the counter, "Can I have one scoop of chocolate ice cream, please?" The woman smiles and asks, "Do you want a cone or a cup?" Ben chooses a cone. His dad orders two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a cup. Ben pays with a five-pound note and gets some change. They sit at a table outside. Ben eats his ice cream slowly because it is very cold. His dad enjoys his vanilla ice cream, too. When they finish, they put their rubbish in the bin and walk home happily.
