A Day at the Zoo
Story transcript
Last Sunday, Lily went to the zoo with her family. First, they visited the monkeys. The monkeys jumped and climbed trees. Lily smiled when she saw a baby monkey. Next, they went to the elephant area. The elephants were eating leaves and drinking water. Lily's little brother liked the giraffes best. They had long necks and ate leaves from tall trees. At lunchtime, the family sat on a bench and ate sandwiches and apples. After lunch, they saw two lions sleeping in the sun. Before they went home, Lily bought a small toy tiger in the gift shop. She was happy because she saw many amazing animals.
