Often or Always? (Adverbs of Frequency: High)

These words tell you how often something happens.

Always, usually, and often all talk about regular habits.

They usually stand before the main verb, but after be.

• Example: I usually walk to school.
• Example: She is always cheerful.

Quick Rule

• before the main verb -> often play
• after be -> is always
