✏️ Spelling for He / She / It

Sometimes the third-person ending is not just -s. Verbs like watch, go, and fly change their spelling a little before the ending is added. So the final letters need careful eyes.

  • Example: watch → watches
  • Example: fly → flies

Quick Rule

  • some verbs take -es
  • verbs ending in consonant + y often change to -ies

The end of the verb is small, but it loves attention.
