Grammar notes

🎒 Whose Is It? (my / your / his / her)

Possessive adjectives show who something belongs to. Use my for me, your for you, his for one boy or man, and her for one girl or woman. Put the possessive adjective before the noun, like a label on a bag.

  • Example: My book is blue.
  • Example: Her bag is yellow.

Quick Rule

  • my = mine
  • your = yours
  • his / her = his or hers

A good label saves time. Grammar likes labels too.
