Use the present simple for habits, routines, and things that are generally true. With I / you / we / they, the verb stays in the base form: I work, they play. This tense is great for everyday life.

  • Example: I live in London.
  • Example: They play football on Saturdays.

Quick Rule

  • I / you / we / they + base verb
  • use it for routines and regular actions

If it happens again and again, the present simple is usually ready.
