💛 Like + -ing

After like, we can use an -ing verb to talk about activities we enjoy. So we say I like swimming or She likes dancing. The activity becomes the thing you like.

  • Example: I like reading.
  • Example: She likes running.

Quick Rule

  • like + verb-ing
  • use it for activities you enjoy

If the activity makes you happy, let like + -ing say it.
