📸 Photo or Movie? (Simple vs Continuous)

Use the present simple for routines and the present continuous for actions happening now. The present simple is like a photo of your usual life. The present continuous is like a movie of this moment. The trick is to ask, “Is it usual, or is it happening now?”

• Example: I play football every Saturday.
• Example: I am playing football now.

Quick Rule

• habit or routine → present simple
• right now → present continuous

Choose photo or movie, and the tense will choose itself.
