🚫 I Can't Do It (Negative Ability)

Use can't to say that someone does not have an ability right now. After can't, use the base verb, just like after can. The subject does not change the form.

  • Example: He can't speak Spanish.
  • Example: I can't ride a bike.

Quick Rule

  • can't = not able
  • can't + base verb

No skill today? Can't says it in one quick step.
