🛑 Do It! Or Don't Do It! (Imperatives)
Imperatives are short command sentences. Use the base verb for a positive command, like Be quiet! Use Don't + verb for a negative command, like Don't run! These sentences are strong, short, and direct.
- Example: Sit down!
- Example: Don't touch that!
Quick Rule
- positive command = base verb
- negative command = Don't + base verb
Short words, clear message. Imperatives do not waste time.
